Last updated: 5 November 2026

At Mawaqiti, we believe your privacy is part of your worship. This page clearly explains what we do not collect and how your data works.

What we collect

We collect no personal data, require no account, and use no trackers or advertising.

Location

If you grant location permission, it is used only on your device to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction. It is never sent to a server or shared with any third party.

Notifications

Notifications are used locally to remind you when a prayer time begins. You can turn them off or withdraw permission at any time in Android settings.

Local storage

Your settings (city, calculation method, language, adhan sound, theme) are stored only on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

Website

This website uses no tracking cookies. It may remember your theme preference (light/dark) locally in your browser. There are no ads or analytics.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no information about children.

Changes

We may update this policy when needed; the update date appears at the top of the page.
